Photography Class

Until I had gotten this class, I did not think much about photos. They were simple reminders of where I had been in life or what I did during a certain age. I did however like black and white photographs because they made everything mysterious, and the shadings of what they were capturing were excellent. In this class, I hope to learn more photos. Maybe after a few lessons I can enjoy them more than I originally did.

Surrealism so far seems like an interesting topic in photography. You take everyday objects and place them in a certain way that makes them look undeniably strange. After capturing it in a photo, the viewers of the photo will gape in wonder as they try to figure out how you did it. I definitely want to learn more about surrealism in this class, and perhaps even take a few photos using the genre.

Originally I did not wish to take this class, but so far it seems more interesting than I previously thought. Hopefully the future assignments and projects of the class will not be too difficult. Perhaps I will soon take a picture that everyone will appreciate. But only time can tell if that will come to pass.

  1. A photograhic image can be such an incredible expression. Often I have found it to surpass, the painted image. Black and white photography and grey scales personally have more of an impact than color. A choice, a preference...
